Locum To Perm Model

As head of Physician Recruitment, you’ve attended the trade shows, screened
dozens of potential candidates, had a number of phone and site interviews,
and done your due diligence. After taking these steps, you optimistically sign
your #1 choice and everyone is eager to get going. It seems like a match made
in heaven and there are plenty of "high fives" to go around.

Fast forward 60-90 days....

Suddenly you hear rumblings that the new physician doesn’t seem to "mesh" well with his or her colleagues or the rest of the staff. You get a complaint from the physician that the volume may be too much to handle. The rumor mill starts and you find out that the physician’s family may not be as thrilled with the area as you had hoped/anticipated.  As you sit at your desk you are hoping that the months of work, phone conversations, interviews, and contract negotiations were all not done in vain.

Uh-oh.

This way all parties involved can see if the position is truly a fit (both clinically and otherwise).

In our experience our Locums to Perm placements have a much higher degree of success than "straight" placements do.
